As avid cornhole players ourselves, we've experienced firsthand the challenges of keeping our bags organized. It was this shared frustration that led us to create BagBandz.

Meet the Team

BagBandz was founded by Blake Lahr and Stephen Buechler, two passionate cornhole enthusiasts based in Springfield, MO. Our journey began when we crossed paths at work and bonded over our love for cornhole during lunch breaks and after-work games. As we honed our skills on the boards, we realized that existing bag organization options were either expensive or potentially damaging to our bags. This realization sparked our idea for BagBandz.

In September 2023, we were thrilled to welcome Jeremy Hoffman to our team. Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation, providing a fresh perspective and a lot of brains to our continued product development.

From Idea to Innovation

To bring BagBandz to life, we started by brainstorming and meticulously thinking through the concept. We have been through countless iterations of configuration and attachment methods. We even created prototypes using two loops of paper to test and refine our design. We feel we have finally landed on the most efficient organization solution. Our dedication and commitment to finding a better way to organize cornhole bags drove us to file a patent in April of 2023.

What sets our production process apart is our dedicated seamstress, Norma Smalley. Norma is known for her efficiency and attention to quality, and she sews each BagBandz by hand with a level of expertise that's second to none.
